One of the numerous variations of the well known S&W Mod 10 revolver.
Smith & Wesson .38 Hand ejector was the previous name of the well known Model 10 revolver. This one came to us to be reblued. It showed very deep little pittings on the hammer and the trigger, as on the logo plate. We suspected one of the owner to have acid perspiration, wich is fatal on firearms.
After a complete take down, we found no worn or broken parts at all. It was a good news on this fragile mechanism, often subject to breakage. We took an extra care to remove pitting around the logo stamp, wich was very light stamped. The hammer and the trigger original finish can't be saved, so we decided to give them a temper color instead of let them in the white.
